On our website, www.monolog.co.bw, go to the Submission Portal section at the bottom of the homepage, fill out information which includes your names, contacts, the role you are auditioning for, a headshot, and optional submission of a showreel or a monologue. Save your video file as a .mp4 or .mov, and make sure it is not too big to send (ideally, 20-30mbp). Compress the file if it is too large to send through the submission portal.

Who We Are

Monolog is a startup film production company incubated by Mogolokwane Incubator for the Arts (MIA) since 2023. It is founded by Thabang Tshepe, who previously served as an assistant to the director of MIA, Moabi Mogorosi, and as a writer for Mogorosi's production company, Abi Films. Under Mogorosi's tutelage, Thabang has worked on projects with the Okavango Diamond Company (ODC), Bank Gaborone, Wild Bird Trust, National Geographic, and the Botswana Wildlife Producers Association (BWPA).

Monolog is a result of this incubation process and is embarking on its first project, the short film "Maun Baby," with support from MIA and Abi Films.
